A vendor asked me if I wanted tickets to see a show under the tent. Umm, hell yes I do!

‘Tis the season.

‘Tis the season.

“I don’t understand how a woman can leave the house without fixing herself up a little - if only out of politeness. And then, you never know, maybe that’s the day she has a date with destiny. And it’s best to be as pretty as possible for destiny.” — CoCo Chanel

Why is ZARA so amazing?
Why does my office have to be next door to this amazingness?

My latest obsession: Jeffrey Campbell.

Helping me be my tallest when I’m surrounded by a city of 6ft models.

I used to sit on my couch in Baltimore, in my parents’ house, and watch reality TV centered on life in NYC. The most exciting episodes — those that were focused on Fashion Week! The most exciting, busy, crazy, sleepless time of the year where companies, brands, celebrities, and consumers all gather to sip cocktails, purchase amazing items, and witness the latest fashion; all while being a part of an amazing experience.

When I started my new job in July, I was immediately told that I would handle all of our sponsorship for Fashion’s Night Out in September. What? Me? Really??? You can imagine my excitement. After weeks and weeks of planning, organizing, coordinating, creating, and imagining; I am all set! Fashion’s Night Out is just two short weeks away and BULLDOG is set to sponsor three amazing brands as well as host our own after-party. Woo hoo!

My Fashion’s Night Out will start early in the morning, I’ll spend my day finalizing everything and trying to control my OCD while preparing each store for BULLDOG promotion. My evening will begin popping in and out of stores where our defiantly delicious cocktails are being served and my evening will end at the after-party where I’ll share a toast with my team to all of our hard work and success.

Experiencing Fashion’s Night Out in NYC — Check that off the bucket list!

A maxi dress is my favorite summer wardrobe weapon! With a few great styling tips, a maxi dress is perfect for any occasion.
For an informal setting:
Keep the outfit basic. Select a pair of flat sandals and throw your hair up in a bun. This outfit is care-free and perfect for dealing with this scorching summer heat.
For a formal setting:
Give the dress some flare. Start by selecting a pair of wedges or heels that meet the appropriate height with the length of the dress. Next, throw on the accessories — bracelets, earrings, rings, necklaces, belts, scarves, hats, etc. By glamming up the dress with accessories, no one will realize how basic the dress actually is.
The maxi dress is great when trying to remain fashionable in 100 degree weather. The loose fitting dress ensures comfort and leaves room to take advantage of a quick breeze.
In my experience, my outings usually begin informal and turn out to be formal. Sunday funday being a prime example, I start my day doing a casual brunch and get dragged out to the bar afterward. My informal dress becomes formal when I reach into my large purse, pull out a pair of heels, and add accessories to my outfit :)

My obsession: Herve Leger

I’m actually taking a little road trip myself. However, mine looks nothing like this. It’s me and 5 of my girlfriends piled on a bus heading out to Long Island. I’ve decided to try out the Hamptons this weekend to see what all the rage is about. Wish me luck!
